First State Bank now offers you the ability to make deposits straight from your phone. All you need is the mobiliti app and the check you are wanting to deposit.
Deposit Checks: We can accept checks payable to you, drawn on a U.S. bank. We can’t accept checks payable to others or made payable to businesses, travelers checks, money orders, foreign checks, substitute checks, or returned checks, postdated checks or stale dated checks (more than 6 months old).
Limits: You can only deposit one check per deposit, up to 3 deposits each day. Deposits can total up to $5,000.00 a day. Lower limits apply for newer customers.
Endorsement: Endorse the check and add “For Bank Mobile Deposit Only” below your signature OR if on the back of the check there is a box to mark for mobile deposit, you may check mark that box and endorse with your signature. All deposits are subject to verification and can be adjusted upon review.
Availability: Deposits can be made throughout the day until 3:00 pm central. Deposits under $1,000.00 will be available same day up to 8:00 pm central. Any deposits, regardless of amount, made after 8:00 pm central, will post on next business day.
Please note: All deposits are subject to verification and can be adjusted upon review. Please keep your paper check for 30 days. After 30 days you can get rid of your checks or simply bring them to us and will shred the for you.
The Bank makes no warranties that the Remote Mobile Service will be error free, secure, and uninterrupted – you agree that the use of the Remote Mobile Service is at your own risk and on an “as is” basis.
We reserve the right to deny access to the use of our Remote Mobile Service without prior notice if it is unable to confirm your authority to access the Remote Mobile Service or we believe such action is necessary for security reasons.
-Before logging into the Mobile Deposit app, close all the other apps running in the background on your mobile phone.
-Sign/Endorse the back of your check, and label it “For Deposit only.”
-When prompted for the amount, carefully enter the check amount to ensure it matches the amount written on your check.
-Flatten folded or crumpled checks before taking your photos.
-Keep the check within the view finder on the camera screen when capturing your photos.
-Take photos in a well-lit area.
